Black Cultural Capital is a Black Trans-led consulting firm that centers Black, queer creators. We serve artists, makers, creators, musicians, and artist activists who 1) honor the origins of much of U.S. cultural as Black and Queer 2) acknowledge the connections across blackness, queerness, and cultural production, and 3) who recognize that being an artist requires being a business owner as well. 

Our services are designed to make it possible for artists to be artists without having to be good at everything. We offer bookkeeping, grant writing for organizations, support for artist residency applications and budgets, organization for taxes, lobbying , and individual business strategy advising. Current lobbying issue areas include: Public Funding for Arts and STEAM, Transgender and LGBTQ+ Rights, Disability in the Arts, Economic Development & Small Business promotion.
