Black Cultural Capital is a Black Trans-led consulting firm that centers Black, queer creators. We serve artists, makers, creators, musicians, and artist activists who 1) honor the origins of much of U.S. cultural as Black and Queer 2) acknowledge the connections across blackness, queerness, and cultural production, and 3) who recognize that being an artist requires being a business owner as well. 

We offer strategic planning, feasibility studies, fundraising (grant writing, individual fundraising, major gifts, corporate partnership development, planned giving, and capital campaign support) for both nonprofits and for-profits (government RFPs); program design and evaluation; fractional leadership services in operations, marketing, or programs; lobbying; marketing and communications; and business strategy advising. Current lobbying issue areas include: Public Funding for Arts and STEAM, Transgender and LGBTQ+ Civil & Human Rights, Environmental Justice, Disability Justice, Housing, Economic Development & Small Business promotion. We are formerly a registered lobbyist and Fundraising Counsel in New York; currently Registered Fundraising Counsel in Indiana; and currently Registered Fundraising Solicitor in Tennessee.
